We all need a little extra motivation during this unprecedented time. Little things like a new cute outfit will definitely kick my booty into action. I won't lie, this past week I've found myself falling into a weird rut that I couldn't shake. I don't think I'm alone either. I found that on the days that I didn't bother getting dressed or throwing some makeup on, made me feel worse. I kept thinking "It's cloudy outside, why bother?" Then I'd spend the whole day in a mood! What a waste of a perfectly good day. Today, I decided differently. I woke up, actually worked out (I know I'm shocked too!), showered, and got ready for the day. Did my entire hair and makeup routine too. Now let me tell you how much BETTER I feel. I mean, the fact that it's Friday probably has something to do with it, but we shouldn't be waiting for Fridays either. Get up, get ready, and throw on a cute work from home (WFH) outfit for the day.

Today, I'm sharing some of my favorite quarantine purchases. These include some easy outfits you could throw together to get your day started on the right note. I've stumbled across so many good sales, it was hard to choose where to start. Surprisingly, I kept finding myself checking out Abercrombie & Fitch. I know, I haven't shopped there since I was 15. If you haven't checked them out lately, I highly recommend you do! They recently had their entire site on 50% off and I couldn't resist. Then I had to purchase enough to reach free shipping, duh! Let's be honest, we've all been there. I figured I'd treat myself to one, two, or maybe six things. Hey, it was 50% off, come on!

Funny you think my online shopping stopped at that! I got an email that Ulta had some of my most used products on a major sale. Here's what I caved and added to my cart.

Beach Babe Dry Shampoo

I don't know about you but I am going through quite a bit of dry shampoo. Why would I wash my hair every day and damage it more if I don't have too? Plus, Beach Babe Dry Shampoo was $2.99! Are you kidding me? There's no way I was only getting one. Plus, I haven't tried either one of these types (only Clean Freak) so it was a great time to try out a different option.

Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel by Benefit Cosmetics

This is my first time using this product and I am obsessed! I typically don't like purchasing prestige brands right off the bat but since I needed a little extra assistance with my blonde eyebrow and it was recently 50% off, I figured why not. The only issue is, I'm hooked!

Essie Gel Couture

Anyone else struggling with having to do their own nails? SOS, I can't even color in the lines. Not to mention the polish only lasts two days without chipping, if you're lucky. I already love the Essie brand so I thought I'd give this new Gel Couture (Color Pinned to Perfection) and Top Coat a try since I will probably have to keep doing my own nails for a while. Wish me luck!

Melted Matte Liquefied Long Wear Lipstick

Hands down my everyday lipstick. It's the perfect finish to your makeup routine and it really is long-lasting. Of course, when I finishing eating lunch I may need to reapply but for the most part, it really does the trick. I typically wear the shade Queen B but Ulta was completely out of stock when I made my purchase so I'm going to try the shade before it, Bottomless (light ballet pink). Maybe I'll find a new favorite shade!

Maneater Mascara by Tarte

The best natural-looking mascara I've come across. This mascara has small bristles on the brush that really help separate each lash. I go an extra step and top my mascara off with a waterproof coat as well just to make sure things stay in place through the day. I use Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Cat Eyes - Waterproof Mascara.

I think I've done enough damage for the time being, or until next week if we're really being honest. Let me know your thoughts and ideas on your WFH outfits and makeup products. Here's to more online shopping and getting out of the stuck at home rut!

Cheers!
